The purpose and objectives of the project:

The purpose is to provide Christmas gifts to the Orphanage and Elderly House “Solnyshko”. 

Implementation of the project:

2 members of staff are in charge. All the residents write letters to Santa, and school community chooses from the tree and donates the gifts. With the help of Haileybury Community, every year we raise around 1 million tenge during Winter Festival which goes towards needs of the orphanage and elderly house. The project ran for 7 years now, from November to January. 

Results:

Successfully running for the 7^th year. Brings the whole community together. Only struggled during covid years, when we couldn’t visit the orphanage, but we didn’t stop providing gifts and needs.
