The purpose and objectives of the project:
For the first time ever in Kazakhstan, P&G and Red Crescent, have launched a charity program to support premature babies. P&G will donate over 650k specialized diapers, designed together with neonatologists for preemies, to 6 perinatal centers (year’s supply), and will also fund the rehabilitation of premature infants.
Implementation of the project:
Step 1: Assessment of the need for diapers for premature babies conducted by the Red Crescent, who selected perinatal centers and defined the optimal donation volume.
Step 2: Import of special Pampers for premature babies and donation to the centers (no plans to sell the product). Step 3: Partnership with retail chains Magnum and Detskiy Mir to raise awareness about the issue and increase support for premature babies.
Ensuring quality care for infants. Diapers were distributed in summer 2023, with ongoing support throughout the year.
Raising awareness of premature babies’ issues. Awareness increased due to a partnership with the Red Crescent and a wide informational campaign.
